Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who is a legend on the television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 1977. In the next few years, she moved to Texas to pursue her career in physical therapy with the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Florida in Orlando and took part in numerous performances. These included independent local films, as well as world-wide commercials. Even though she had small part-time roles, she quickly realized her love for acting. Her move to New York and in 2001 she scored her first role on the soap opera for daytime viewers All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the initial decade of 2000, she had small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was cast for her first role in a series on The Mountain which was a short-lived television drama. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with some of the greatest TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Plegge. Her role on the show was in 2006 when she was A.D.A. on Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was a part of 85 episodes. After that, she was a part of the brief, but short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. Her character was a hit and earned De La Garza various nominations like Best Supporting Actress - Television through the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded De La Garza the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in the drama TV series. De La Garza was then assigned as a regular role on CSI Miami. She was Marisol Delko and wife to David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. She played the character Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC after only two episodes. Milano. The actress is an ethnically-mixed woman of Italian descent and has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years older. Her family was a religious and conservative family. Milano was first introduced to acting when she was seven years old. Her babysitter brought her along to an audition. Of more than a thousand applicants the actress was selected for the audition as one of four. Milano has appeared in TV commercials, off-Broadway plays and Jane Eyre, the American first-ever premiere of Jane Eyre.
